I started knitting this just after I finished the Balmoral Thistle; it's on a Massachusetts snowbank (and that's my Chev Blazer behind, bought 'er new in '92 and she now has 361,000 km on it ... for my American friends, that's more then 1/4 million miles!). The wool is pure shetland, from the El Gloateroo stash. It's big enough for a double bed and is three panels, the two outside "alternating" Madeira Cascade (I adapted it and like it much better than the "stacked" look of the original pattern), with a panel of Rose Trellis running down the centre. You sorta getting the idea I like Rose Trellis?
