Max Pauley, Lace Knitter Extraordinaire, Best Friend and Healer of Wounded Hearts, made this beautiful signature tag for me a couple of weeks ago. Max was my support and comfort when I found myself suddenly single in Massachusetts, thousands of kilometres away from all the other important people in my life. We'd spend hours on the phone, laughing (and sometimes not) about the twists and turns our lives have taken. Even though we've never met in person, we have always found a kindred spirit in each other. One of these days he'll come to Canada and be a guest in our home (RIGHT, MAX?? ) and then we'll have that gallon (err, 4 litres) of ice cream and watch Sleepless In Seattle (or Vancouver ;-).
